Stephen Bullivant is Professor of Theology and the Sociology of Religion at St Mary’s University, UK, and Professorial Research Fellow in Theology and Sociology at the University of Notre Dame, Australia. His nonreligion-related books include The Oxford Handbook of Atheism (OUP, 2013; co-edited with Michael Ruse), The Oxford Dictionary of Atheism (OUP, 2016; with Lois Lee), The Cambridge History of Atheism (CUP, 2021; co-edited with Michael Ruse), and – most recently – Nonverts: The Making of Ex-Christian America (OUP, 2022).
