[…] [W]atching the progress of the life of the plants. And the interactions that you sort of notice. I grow the asparagus and I harvest most of it, but not all of it because I need some to, you know, give more energy back to the roots. And then later on in the year, you see the little orange beetles appear which is the asparagus beetle. It feeds on the asparagus but by that point I don’t really care. And it’s just nice, you see the colours, you see them running around. And it’s kind of nice to see all that […] the interactions between the plants and the animals and the birds and whatever.
